What is a rack safety awareness course?
Taking place at your premises, one of our NVQ-qualified and independently certified racking inspectors will train up to six members of your staff in the following:
- The need for racking inspections
- Types of racking and identification of the various components
- Structural awareness
- The responsibilities of the supplier and the user
- Types of inspection, record keeping and actioning the findings
- Inspection equipment
- Damage classification
This will be followed by a practical assessment in your warehouse, putting the theory of what we have learned during the earlier part of the day into practice.
